While surfing the internet, I came across a 3D model Rachel Yamada created for Warmachine Tactics. I really liked the style of the art so I decided to recreate the asset in order to practice a few new techniques out. First modeled in Maya, high-res sculpt in Zbrush than back in Maya for a retopo with UV's. I usually use xNormal, but decided to try groups and do all baking in Substance Painter for a faster flow. Texturing in Substance Painter with sign lettering completed in Illustrator to be used as alpha's in painter. Final renders in Marmoset Tool Bag 3.
Overall a fun project. Learned a few new methods which will aid in my daily work. Thanks to Rachel and Warmachine Tactics for the inspiration on this Fan Art model!
